Matt Forbes the guy
I know sweets, in fact I both live and love them. My passion for the art of pastry began back in the UK where I trained under the masterful tutorage of Michelin Starred chefs, Raymond Blanc from Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons and Michel Roux from The Waterside Inn.
Hailing from the UK, I am now lucky to call Melbourne home, and more recently I have been whipping up a sweet storm in the kitchens of Vue de Monde, Maze and Mr Hive Kitchen & Bar.
Melbourne is a wonderland for those in the cafe scene. It is full of amazing people doing brilliant things with coffee and food. As a pastry chef, I saw the opportunity to add another dimension to this magical formula.
